Making A Choice (MAC) Program

Making a Choice (MAC) is a unique program developed by the Spirit of the Living God to teach young people how to make a choice. This program is available for individuals, families, friends, young people, groups, etc. Directors Minister Janice Obie (USA) and Minister Ibukunoluwa Joshua Adunola (Africa) bring a wonderful combination of experience to this program.

Many young people today don’t know how to make wise choices. Even if they wanted to make a choice, they do not possess enough skill and correct information to put in their decision making process. Most children are inquisitive and wonder what is on the “other side”. You have told them what is on the righteous side, but we must teach them the results of being on the broad way which is the dark side. Once they have the information, then God will lead them by His Spirit“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Matthew 7:13-14

Also included in the MAC Program is the DWF Children Program instituted to restore, embrace, and enable many children in Africa, India, and the USA. Many children have been forsaken without given a chance at life without the necessities of  food, clothing, and education, and a chance to live a victorious life. Without teaching, love, and the compassion of people like you, they will be the next generation of impoverished, ignorant, destitute children wandering in the world. This program helps teach restoration to the many children and to provide monetary help when and wherever possible.

Prayer Points for our praying youth.

Our youth of today are confronted with much peer pressure, causing them to give and make many quick and thoughtless answers and choices. Many of these choices are left for them to make without any prior information given, or guidance that would help them make wiser choices. In some cases, information was given, but in how to apply it to their lives became hard and unusable. The mission of MAC Program is to teach and share with them a more perfect choice...continue>>

MAC welcomes recently named Directors of Making A Choice (MAC)

Recently named Directors of Making A Choice (MAC) Program - Minister Janice Obie (USA) and Minister Ibukunoluwa Joshua Adunola (Africa)

These two leaders will use their time to focus on many unanswered questions and needs of our youth today. Although the youth have heard about how Jesus ministered to the little children but they fail to understand how to apply the principles in their lives.

Once Minister Obie came to the knowledge of God, her desire was to do everything that she could for the Lord. She has worked in several capacities for many years at her church, Mebane’s Chapel United Holy Church, in Hillsborough NC. He is very committed to Christ and all of the activities of the church where his father, Rev. Dr. Isaiah Adunola is the Overseer and also the Senior Vice President of Bettye Jenkins Ministries and President and Chancellor of Go Ye Christian University.

“God Will Provide A Way of Escape”

by Minister Janice Obie

Many times in our lives, we come against obstacles that seem like we can’t make it through. These obstacles are sometimes placed in our lives to see how we will handle them. Young people, we have to learn to trust God in whatever situation we find ourselves. God can handle it if we let Him. God always has a way of escape for us. We can think of him as the “Stone Crusher”. He can crush the biggest stone, into many pieces that is placed in our life. There are many examples in His Word showing how and where God provided a way of escape for His children.

God provided a way of escape for Joseph, even when his brothers purposed in their hearts to get ride of him (Gen 37:20 KJV) Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams. Joseph’s brothers were jealous, envied and hated him.  This jealousy took control over their entire thought process.God allowed him to be sold and gave him favor in everything he did. Joseph went through much but ended in a place of great favor with Pharaoh.  Pharaoh set Joseph over all the land of Egypt(Gen 41:39-43 KJV) And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath showed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art: (40)  Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou. (41) And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt. (42)  And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph's hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck; (43) And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt. God does not want us to be jealous of one another; but to strive to do His will, and He will provide a way for your gift(s) to be recognized.

Next, we can reflect on the Israelites how God brought them across and through the Red Sea. Pharaoh’s army was about to overtake them, but God spoke to Moses and said “stretch out his hand, and the sea parted, and the children of Israel were able to go across on dry land (Exo 14:21-22 KJV) And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. (22)  And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. After they were across all Moses had to do was stretch out his hand again and the sea returned to his strength overtaking the Egyptians (Exo 14:27-28 KJV) And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. (28)  And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them. God wants us to have total trust in Him without murmuring and complaining.

Next, we can reminisce on the three Hebrew boys, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego who would not fall down and worship an idol god (Dan 3:6 KJV) And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. Because they would not fall down and worship an idol god, they were thrown into the fiery furnace. These three boys did not care because they knew they served a living God, one that would deliver them from the heat of the  fiery furnace   (Dan 3:17-18 KJV) If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. They had total trust in their God. If you stand firm, God will change the mind and hearts of those that purposely try to kill you (Dan 3:28 KJV) Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

Lastly, we can reflect on how God delivered Daniel from the Lion’s den, because Daniel stood up for what and whom he believed and would not stop praying to his God. He was thrown into the lion’s den because he believed God. Daniel didn’t worry, because he knew his God could and would deliver him out of the mouth of the lions. God didn’t take Daniel out of the Lion’s den, but he shut the lions’ mouth (Dan 6:22 KJV) My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

Hold to your faith, stand firm, and your God will deliver and touch the hearts and minds of those who try to destroy you.(Dan 6:26 KJV) I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.

This teaching will work no matter what country, nation, nationality or gender. God has made provision for each of us through His Word. You are special to Him. Matthew 19:13-14 (KJV) Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. [14] But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

My God and your God will provide a way of escape. Hold to your faith and don’t back down. In school, in your home or wherever you are, continue to stand for God. Tell truth, speak truth and God will bring you out.

Prayer Points

I speak to every obstacle in my way. In the name of Jesus Christ. Matthew 17:20 (KJV) And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me. Philip. 4:13 (KJV)  I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
