Apostle Bettye Jenkins was born in Chapel Hill, NC, where she and her son John Matthew Jenkins II reside. Her Maternal Grandmother raised her. At a young age, she often cried out to God as to why she was ever born. Her grandmother provided for her but because she had so many other children, the open demonstration of love and affection were omitted. However, her grandmother imparted many other valuable principles into Apostle Jenkins. Her grandmother, who was mostly Cherokee Indian knew how to survive in an unfriendly surrounding. Her grandmother provided for all of them from the natural resources  by flower planting, picking and making bundles. She took natural flowers from fields and sold them to people on the street. This soon became a tradition of Chapel Hill and the University.  Apostle Jenkins followed her grandmother’s footsteps and took it another step higher by making floral designing a business, Bettye’s Flower Design. Apostle Jenkins started from a very young age to love and perfect the art of making flowers.  When financial needs for the ministry started to come forth, she used funds from her business to support the mission work in USA, Africa and South India since the year of 1999.

As a child, her grandmother not only provided for her own children, but also for many other people who did not have any one to care for them.  This principle was imparted into Apostle Jenkins. From this impartation, she carries a love for those who are suffering from the hand of evil people and satan. God imparted principles inside of her that has proven to cause many people to come forth in victory.

Then God called her aside and began to give her step-by-step as to what she was to do and where she was to go to become equipped for the upcoming mission before her. Little did she know what God had in store for her to do, but she was willing to do whatever He told her. She spent many hours alone listening to the Holy Spirit teach her. She also traveled from city to city, country to country seeking to know even more and more about God.

Then the birthing process began. The first ministry the Lord birthed within her was Deborah Warrior's Fellowship (DWF). The Lord wanted the teaching in the Deborah Warriors Fellowship to be complete life application. The Lord directed her to repeat the work of Deborah (Judges 4th Chapter) to lead His people to victory. Under this fellowship, the Lord gave her directions to teach the Word of God by the example in Psalms 149:5-9. This fellowship met every Saturday night in her mobile home. The fellowship was to teach Believers of all walks of life who have invited Jesus into their lives. This is one of God’s ways of causing the Gospel and the Word to spread. Habakkuk 2:14 (KJV) For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. God not only birthed the Deborah Warriors Fellowship in USA, but has grounded and established Deborah Warriors International Territories in Africa. Within the DWF in USA, other branches have been established including Deborah Warriors Widow’s Care Foundation. This foundation gives teachings that will bring the recovery of their faith in God and to restore many lost relationships between Widows and God. Many have given up hope as to who can help them.  Within these teachings God is restored in their lives and He becomes their main source.  The Apostle encourages widows to learn more about God and His precepts which will strengthen them and cause their faith to be restored in the spirit and in their daily lives.

God continued by bringing forth the DWF Making a Choice Program (MAC) which presents to children, youth, and young people the foundational facts about God and His provision for them even at a young age. Many young people leave the path of God without any information about God, giving them nothing which will draw them back to God. In the case of the prodigal son, the young man asked his father for his share of his inheritance and went his way. Many young people think they know what is good for them and seek to take a journey into an adult world. Many only find themselves as the prodigal son.  When he had spent all of his inheritance he was left all alone without any hope to survive. Yet, he remembered what it was like in his father’s house even for the hired servants and made a decision to return.

Many of our young people today do not have anyone to give this type of nurturing to them.  The MAC Program will teach young people in all areas of their lives.  At the moment they may not accept it but at a later time they can refer back to what they have been taught causing them to return to God.

The MAC Program within the DWF embraces children and gives teaching which will strengthen, encourage, and embrace them to ensure wholeness in their lives. All teachings are biblical based.

In the year of 1993, after the birth of the Deborah Warriors Fellowship, the Lord directed her to establish the Endtime Revival Center (ETRC). God's direction was to continue to fulfill the work of preparing the Body of Christ to be prepared for the upcoming victory.

In the Year of 1996, the Lord birthed "Living by the Word" television show (LBTW). This 30-minute teaching was to broaden the audience in life application teachings.  Considering many teaching that the Body of Christ needed never reached the pulpits. God said “I will open a door for you to share my Word by the way of Television”.

In the year of 1996, the Lord began to reveal to her His plan for a "School of Learning' which is called "Go Ye Christian University". This School of Learning is to teach the Body of Christ to take the Word of God to cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2:14 (KJV) For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. Yet the Body of Christ had to be trained how to eat the Word of God as given in Ezekiel 3:1-4 (KJV) Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel. So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.  And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness. And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.

Without hesitation, following her desire to be obedient to God, Apostle Jenkins began to bring the "School of Learning" into existence. There were no buildings, monies, or support from others to bring forth this work of God; ignoring these circumstances surrounding her she walked out in faith and started the ministry in her living room.Her neighbors began to call her the "trailer preacher". However, she continued to follow what God had called her to do. Go Ye Christian University was first introduced in the USA and then Internationally. Then the Lord directed her to travel to Africa and India where the two countries accepted and began to embrace the teaching of life application.

In the year of 2002, God birthed the International Communion of Ministers, Ministries and Churches (ICMMC).  Apostle Jenkins stands to encourage and embrace the communion of ministers, ministries and churches in the Body of Christ.  In the year of 2005, God spoke and gave instructions to start a “WE Stand Watch” Intercessor Fellowship as a part of ICMMC. God said to call the Body of Christ together who are willing to stand and watch for all saints. The Intercessors as a corporate group will call upon the Name of the Lord as often as possible. Ephesians 6:18 (KJV) Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints The purpose is to make those under this covering to stand in oneness and unity as in the Day of Pentecost. When we become one and in unity you will be able to gain victory in all areas of your life. Acts 2:1-4 (KJV) And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
