The Body of Christ has entangled themselves in much bondage and has become ineffective working in the Kingdom of God. Most of them are unable to free themselves and come out of captivity on their own. In Judges, Chapter 4, God equipped Deborah, a prophetess and judge, to accompany the commander of Israel, Barak, into battle.  God raised her up and gave her instructions and leadership abilities. She was spiritually committed to her walk with God, knowing if God said that He would deliver their enemies into their hands; that He would faithful to bring it to pass.  She knew that God would go out before them in the battle and that no force in heaven or on earth could stand against them.

God made Apostle Bettye Jenkins a “Deborah” to the world. Just as Deborah went with Barak to assist him in his battle, God commissioned Apostle Jenkins to go in and to walk with the people as they came out of their bad situations. DWF mission is walk people out of their seemliness hopeless situations into the victories through the Word of God.

The only way people can come out of their situations will be with God and His Word. DWF is based on Psalm 149:5-9. They are to let the high praises of God be in their mouths and a two edged sword in their hands to execute the judgment written in the Word of God.

Psalm 149:5-9 (KJV) ⁵ Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. ⁶ Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;
⁷ To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; ⁸ To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; ⁹ To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

The Body of Christ must stand up realizing that there are two armies – one, the Kingdom of God and the other, the Kingdom of Darkness.  Each person will have to choose which army they will serve – the one or the other.

DWF seeks to equip the Body of Christ right now, teaching the Body that our spiritual warfare must be unrelenting and aggressive – a struggle to achieve the same goal. In the Old Testament, the children of Israel engaged in warfare to take the land that was given to them by God their Father.  God walked with them, lead them, guided them, and defended them.  God is still the same today.  He desires to give us the land flowing with milk and honey and to see His children prosperous with all their needs met.  The Body of Christ must come forth in the power, majesty, and the manifested glory of God in these end times.

DWF teaches spiritual warfare, praying the Word of God, and interceding for those who are lost and hurting. Veils are removed from the eyes, heart, and minds of the people so that they will come into the truth and mysteries of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

DWF teaches ordinary people to come up from their “seemingly hopeless” situations to become mighty warriors in the Kingdom of God, using the Word of God as the method to be applied to your everyday life circumstances with your family, church, community, state and country. 

DWF has under its umbrella the following: The Widows Care Foundation, the Children’s Program, Making a Choice (MAC) Program and DWF Branch helping and teaching widows, children, elders in Africa and the USA. The We Stand Watch is the intercessory prayer warriors and Equipping the Saints Newsletter is the publication under DWF.

The Widow’s Care Foundation (WCF) was founded in the USA, but was first organized in Nigeria, West Africa. One mission trips to Africa, God touched Apostle Jenkins’ heart concerning the widows. In this country, once a woman is a widow, the husband’s family has the right to the property.  They come in, throw the widow and the children on the street to fend for themselves.  There are no government programs to take care of the women or the children. There are no jobs or any other assistance to help them once they become a widow.

The mission of the WCF is to be a source of strength to widows as restoration is given to them and their children.  It encourages, uplifts and restores many widows back into society by using the principles in the Word of God to bring them to wholeness. Many testimonies continue to come regarding this restoration.

DWF Children’s Program was instituted to restore, embrace, and enable many children in Africa, India, and the USA. Many children have been forsaken without given a chance at life without the necessities of food, clothing, and education, and a chance to live a victorious life. Without teaching, love, and the compassion of people like you, they will be the next generation of impoverished, ignorant, destitute children wandering in the world. This program helps teach restoration to the many children and to provide monetary help when and wherever possible.

Making a Choice (MAC) Program was developed by the Spirit of the Living God to teach young people how to make a choice in the many situations they are confronted with today. Many young people don’t know how to make wise choices because they do not possess enough skill and correct information to make a right decision.

Our youth is confronted with peer pressure, causing them to give and make many quick and thoughtless answers and choices. Many of these choices are left for them to make without the correct information or guidance that would help them make wiser choices.

The MAC teachings present youths with information that will help them recognize that some decisions will cheat them out of a successful life, bringing them into contact with undesirable relationship(s) at an age that they will find difficult and hard to manage. Society has chosen to accept and legalized many things that make it difficult for our youth and teenagers to know if it is good for them. While many things are acceptable and lawful, they are not profitable.

Many youths find it hard to distinguish the line between right and wrong. With pornography, HIV and Aids and the availability of literature to our youth, we must be even more aggressive with an urgency to teach our youth.  Even with all these obstacles MAC teaches that it still ends with a choice. MAC presents choices that will help them to make those wiser choices. MAC desires to place the greater emphasis on making the better choice.

DWF Branches are avenues to spread the Gospel at other locations other than the Main Headquarters located in Chapel Hill, NC. DWF Branch teachings include the same teachings and purposes as the main headquarters.  Many individuals, not in close proximity to the main headquarters, can establish a Branch in a location near them.  This Branch Fellowship can be established by someone desiring to learn more about the Word of God and His awesome power.  You can take the six (6) week study of the teachings after which they can begin to teach others in that location. The teachings will be sent to the lead person from the headquarters who will in return teach it to the fellowship group.  A branch may be established in one’s home, community center, church hall, or bible study group

DWF Raleigh Branch - Currently, Apostle Jenkins shares the Word of God at the Raleigh Branch Location. She teaches at a facility for seniors 55 years of age or older.

The Word is taught to their Spirit Man and sown in their hearts. There is no need to take notes or highlight their Bibles in many different colors.  The Word is taught with simplicity so that each member can understand it and then incorporate them into the every day life.

Without being put into the bondage of eloquent reading , taking notes, or having some high tech material to tape, they do not lag behind for they have asked God to seal His Word within their hearts.  God has done many miracles in each of their lives.  Praise the Lord.

“Equipping The Saints Newsletter” (ESTN) equips the Body of Christ with teachings to show them how to live a victorious life through the Word of God.  The Body of Christ must gird themselves up, enlist, and fight in the Spiritual war that is going on around them. 

ETSN will prepare the Body of Christ to first identify the enemy and then to wage war upon him and the kingdom of darkness. We must engage our enemy directly in warfare.  We can not just ignore him, forget about him, and run and hide.    “...The Kingdom of Heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” Matthew 11:12

ETSN will give you insight into this spiritual battle and how to overcome the tactics of the enemy through practical Bible based teachings. Each issue will also contain Prayer points that will enable you to invade the spirit realm. 

ETSN is one way God is preparing His Body for His eminent and glorious return to the earth for the final battle.Will you be equipped and ready?
