BJ Fashions

The BJ Fashion, GYCU vocational training certificate program gives Glory to God for its establishment. BJ Fashion is a certificate program in which the students are trained to give professional high quality tailoring and sewing designs to the Glory of God. It was founded with the purpose of giving Glory to God.

Upon visiting Africa, Apostle Jenkins recognized that many of the widows were attempting to have businesses but were without skills.  After the DWF Widow’s Care Foundation was established Apostle Jenkins and Drs. Charlie and Barbara Morris desired to see them trained in order to do business to support them and their families.

Dr. Charlie Morris, a man with great love and compassion for all mankind, stood with Apostle Jenkins with the vision that God had shown her about the establishment of BJ Fashion.  With this in mind, BJ Fashions was established to help train Widows. Later it was open to anyone who desired to learn tailoring and sewing. While being trained under the leadership of Director Pas. Samson Abodunrin, BJ Fashion could also make revenue to off set some of the expenses of the newly established GYCU.

During the 2003-2004, Matriculation of GYCU, our first student Ms. Toyin Amos graduated. After she completed two years of training, she was presented her Certificate of Completion by Instructor Pastor Samson Abodunrin, and Apostle Bettye Jenkins

BJ Fashion has graced many Americans and Africans with beautiful designs including tailored designs  for Apostle Jenkins.  These designs and others are scheduled to be offered in our GYCU Store, in the future. Funds are presented to Africa GYCU to enhance its financial responsibilities.
