The first meeting was graced with the presence of the First President of GYCU, Rev. Dr. Emmanuel O. Uthman.  Pictured below from left to right is: Rev. The first meeting was called to order and the first order of business was to declare the purpose for starting the Alumna Association. Some of the purposes are listed below:

  2. For unified prayer
  3. To sharing experiences together in the Spreading of the Gospel
  4. To help each other in spiritual matters
  5. To network and form a support for each other in cases of upcoming crusade, seminars, conferences etc.
  6. To monitor and serve as a check and balance system for each other in order not to go into error
  7. To help plan special programs for GYCU
  8. To publicize GYCU and extend the borders of its existence and to share the content of its purposes.

Rev. Dr. Kayode Odufuwa

Many of the former students desired to share testimonies concerning the outcome of what God has done for and through them as a result of them being a student of GYCU.  Rev. Dr. Kayode Odufuwa, the pilot of the Alumni Association, also gave his testimony.  (Pictured on the Left)

Pastor Jonathan Ile

God is giving me understanding to know that every counsel from man is not from God.  He has shown me through GYCU how to use the series of counseling thought which helped me to start my own Ministry and helps me to stand even in God today.

It is when I entered this school that I know the difference between God's counsel and man's counsel but God him self understand.

Pastor Cletus Udoh

When I came to this school, I was having a lot of trouble with my wife which was pregnant and could not delivered, but when I met Apostle Jenkins, she prayed for her and she delivered safely with a bouncing baby boy. Through this school, I became Pastor of a church. To God be the glory.  (not pictured)

Rev. John Biachi

I thank God for allowing me to pass through this School and meeting with Apostle Jenkins and the first President of the University. God has done great things for me through this School and in January of this year, God protected me from a fire accident in a factory where I work as an electrical engineer which could have taken my life but God saw me through. I am grateful.

Pastor Kayode Oluwaseyi (He Started 2002 Till Date)

When I came to this school, I was confused until the teaching came forth and my eyes were open to know everything about the Ministry and my calling. I came in as a deacon, but now I am a Pastor.

Through this school, I was healed of constant headache trouble that made it hard for me to read and study; but now I am completely healed. Through this School, I have been given Two Official cars. (not pictured)

My coming to Go Ye Christian University was a divine call from God because I had previously chosen two schools but God want me to be here. I have recorded many testimonies since I joined GYCU. The church which was not built is now completed.  My eyes were opened to see more than what I saw before, even when I have gone to another church, with a Bishop and reading his Books and his Schooling. Dr. Emmanuel Abunwa

I thank God for passing through this School and all the benefits that God has given to me through this school. I thank God for seeing Apostle Jenkins and the first President of the GYCU sitting down together with all of the people together with the Alumna student in Africa. (pictured right)
